RESEARCH SYSTEM

Methodology

CCA uses one comparable framework to investigate crypto casinos without pretending that every player needs the same product. This page explains the evidence, scoring and editorial decisions behind every review.

THE 100-POINT MODEL

Six categories. One explainable score.

A CCA score is a product assessment, not a prediction of winnings and not a guarantee that every payment will arrive within the same time. It summarizes how well a casino performs across the features players can actually inspect and use.

The same categories appear throughout the review directory. Their importance is fixed so a high score in one review can be compared with a high score elsewhere. The written verdict remains essential because two casinos with similar totals may suit completely different users.

25%

Casino & games

Slots, live tables, Originals, provider breadth, search, filtering and whether the lobby remains useful after the first visit.

20%

Crypto payments

Coins, networks, minimums, fees, wallet instructions, cashier clarity and the practical route from deposit to withdrawal.

20%

Safety & transparency

Operating entity, licence disclosure, terms, KYC language, account controls, restricted countries and support documentation.

15%

Usability & mobile

Navigation, touch targets, search, responsive tables, bet-slip behaviour, performance and access to key account controls.

10%

Sportsbook

Pre-match and live markets, esports, odds navigation and how naturally sports connects with the casino account.

10%

Rewards & value

Welcome benefits, VIP, rakeback, cashback and recurring value after wagering, expiry and eligibility rules are considered.

EVIDENCE PATH

How one review moves from research to verdict.

We separate product evidence from interpretation so readers can see what a conclusion is built on.

  1. 01

    Map the live product

We identify the casino, sportsbook, Originals, rewards, mobile experience and the features that define the operator.

  2. 02

    Read the official record

Terms, help pages, payment instructions, KYC policies, bonus rules and current licence disclosures form the primary source trail.

  3. 03

    Separate coins from networks

A supported asset does not prove that every blockchain is available. We record routes, minimums and restrictions only when the available evidence supports them.

  4. 04

    Test the comparison logic

The review asks who the product suits, where friction may appear and which alternative better addresses a recognizable need.

  5. 05

    Score, calibrate and explain

Category evidence is weighted through the model and the overall score is calibrated against the complete CCA directory. The verdict, strengths and limitations explain what the number cannot communicate alone.

READING THE SCORE

What each range means.

A score should narrow a shortlist, not replace personal judgment or the operator’s current terms.

90–100

Excellent

A highly capable product with broad strengths and relatively few material compromises.

85–89

Very good

Strong for its intended audience, with limitations that should be understood before joining.

80–84

Good

A credible option with clear strengths, but more trade-offs in transparency, breadth or usability.

Below 80

Mixed

Useful for a narrower audience or feature, with additional caution required around the weaker areas.

HEAD-TO-HEAD MODEL

A comparison anyone can reconstruct.

Direct comparisons use a separate six-dimension product model. A lead greater than 3 points is a win; differences inside that calibration band are draws. Category wins decide the result, with the published weighted score used only as the tie-breaker.

CHANGEABLE INFORMATION

What happens when a casino changes?

Bonuses, accepted countries, game providers, payment limits and network support can change without warning. CCA describes these details as current rather than permanent and directs readers to the live operator page when a number controls a financial decision.

Material changes can affect both the text and the score. A new licence, withdrawal rule or KYC policy matters more than a cosmetic redesign. Smaller interface changes may be incorporated during the next scheduled review of the page.

If two official pages conflict, the more specific and current rule receives priority. Where the evidence remains unclear, we describe the uncertainty instead of turning it into a precise claim.

Primary evidence firstOperator terms, help centres, payment documentation, licence disclosures and responsible-gambling pages lead the research.
Secondary evidence in contextPublic reputation and independent reporting may identify recurring questions, but do not override current official rules.
No safety guaranteeA licence or high score cannot eliminate financial risk, account checks, regional restrictions or the possibility of loss.
METHODOLOGY FAQ

Questions about the CCA scoring system.

Does the highest score suit every player?+

No. A casino can rank highly overall and still be a poor fit for someone who needs a specific coin, sportsbook market, provider or country availability.

Are withdrawal times guaranteed?+

No. Published targets, account approval, wagering status, security checks and blockchain conditions can all affect timing.

Why do scores sometimes change?+

Scores can change when the product, terms, licence, payment system or available evidence changes materially.

Do you treat “no KYC” as an absolute promise?+

No. Even low-friction crypto casinos can request identity, payment ownership or source-of-funds evidence under security and compliance rules.
